The first organizational meeting of the East End Democrats was called to order by . The first order of business was to vote on a domain name for the club's web site. The name EastEndDemocrats.com carried. David Huffman volunteered and was named treasurer. There was a call for volunteers for the bylaws committee and forms were provided to fill out for volunteering.

A vote was held to accept the Sample Democratic Club Constitution without Article III Section 1. You can see our constitution here.

Marty Daniel was named temporary secretary.

Next meeting was decided to be May 20, 2008 at Bohemio's.
